You have probably heard of the Heartbleed bug by now. Described as “Catastrophic” by the experts, this tiny coding error was affecting 66% of all web servers.

Of course,  our phpList techies were on top of this right away. It took around 6 hours for us to update our servers, and all SSL certs were re-keyed.

Time to change your password

The world does not yet know if the Heartbleed bug was being exploited. There is mixed advice about whether or not you need to change your passwords.

Our advice is that you should change your passwords regularly  – and now is an especially good time to make your regular change.
